Nigerian men are better than Kenyans in many ways, says Kenyan socialite Shakilla

Published

on

Popular Kenyan socialite, Shakilla has listed several reasons she prefers Nigerian men to her countrymen, praising Nigerian men for their generosity and sexual stamina, adding that Kenyan men are allegedly stingy and poor in bed.

According to her, Nigerian men unlike their Kenyan counterparts are free givers and last hours in bed.

Born Shakila Amin, the 22-year-old controversial social media sensation also argued Kenyan men aren’t as comely as Nigerian men.

Stressing on the word stingy, Shakilla claimed that was an obvious trait in Kenyan men, saying that was what she detested with the fact that they have wives which makes it really difficult to go about flaunting them.

She said: “Nigerians are romantic. Actually, I prefer Nigerians more than Kenyans. If I decide to say why I don’t like Kenyan men, I don’t even think I’ll finish tonight. It’s a lot of things.

“First, they’re stingy. Kenyan men look alike, they don’t really look that good. I really emphasise the word stingy. A Kenyan man can never give you money, like he’d rather pay for it but he can never give you money.

“And then, they don’t last in bed. They really don’t last, it’s minutes. I’m talking about hours for the Nigerian guys.

“And Kenyan men, most of them have wives so, it’s really hard to roam around with them. I don’t like that. I want to roam with my man, do you understand what I’m saying?

“A Kenyan guy cannot pay for your flight to go somewhere. He’ll have to ask you one thousand questions before he does that. So, I don’t like that.

Hoping to get a good grasp of where the animosity for her countrymen spurs from, one of the interviewers inquired: “Who are those Kenyan men you’ve been dating that are disappointing you this much? Because I don’t think all Kenyan men are that way.”

Responding, Shakilla stated: “I’ve never been in a relationship before, I’ve just been in situations. I’ve been in relationships, in other people’s relationships but I’ve never been in my own relationship. I don’t know if you understand what I’m saying.”

No holds barred: Why I demanded sex with Simi before music collaboration

Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, better known as Brymo, has come out to describe his alleged sex-for-music request from female colleague, Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi as an “artistic pursuit”

Brymo sparked controversy after he revealed in a voice note he posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he demanded a sexual relationship from Simi in lieu for a music collaboration.

This didn’t sit well with Simi’s husband, singer Adekunle Gold, who warned him to “stay away” from his wife and “stop disrespecting” his family.

But in a recent interview with TVC, Brymo defended his sexual advances towards “Tiff” singer describing it as “an artistic pursuit.”

According to Brymo, “One day I was somewhere and I met Adekunle Gold, I was just like, ‘Oh! Gold.’ The first time I was ever meeting him. And he requested a collaboration… When he came to me, I just said flatly, ‘Oga, I’m not doing any collaboration right now.’

“Two weeks after, Simi came. I didn’t know they [Simi and Adekunle Gold were together]. I’m sure you all know about Falz. He took the fall that I was supposed to take. I was the target… But I’m a smart guy.

Continuing, he said, “When I saw her [Simi], I said no features except I am laying with the woman I am working with so it can really be intense. Did she not sleep with Adekunle Gold? Is that not why the music is extra good? But she said no, and I was like okay, bye-bye and then she left.

“She wasn’t the only one I proposed it to. But guess what? I’ve made music with seven women. I didn’t sleep with anyone of them.

“After that incident, I’ve recorded songs with four women. We didn’t even have that [sexual] conversation at all. We just made music. So, it wasn’t about me asking for sex for collaboration. No, no, it wasn’t about that. For me, it was an artistic pursuit.”

He wrote “Two year’s ago, I gave Ileri N2 million to perform at my mother’s annual remembrance concert at Ikorodu.

“The boy never turned up. So I called him to ask why. He then said he was not feeling well.

“When I asked for a refund, he said he lost his phone and money recently when the NDLEA raided his place and since he was leaving Marlian Records, he is now broke, with no commitment to repay.

“I then left, all for me to later hear that this same boy was having a musical video shoot next door, practically the next street to my house.

“So I went there to ask for my money again. We had an argument that lasted five minutes. Even one of his friends insisted he was going pay the money. Up till today one kobo they have not paid me. This was early last year. I have since moved on.

“I travelled to Kenya to find new African act that can perform at my mother’s concert this year. I have been away since August 20!

“Till now I don’t know anything other than what was written in the blogs and press. I don’t even know where he lives I only know his former label boss and their house.

“I don’t know any nurse or doctor or hospital. I don’t know anything about his movement, I don’t have that time. I have lost a lot more money than that before; you win some you lose some.

“That is my story, case close. I came here willingly and happily. I know nothing about how the musician died.”
