Elder statesman and Ijaw national leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has condoned Federal Government’s plan to establish a Naval base in Kano.
Clark, in an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, described the plan as a mission impossible.
He argued that it was nonsensical for the government to establish a naval base in a desert when it can ordinarily use the resources to improve areas that are naturally suited for such project.
He urged the president to have a rethink about the project.
