Today, as I write this piece, I am filled with gratitude and joy, reflecting on the profound impact one individual has had on my life.
Let me use this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation to a remarkable person, my boss, my brother, and my confidant,
Mr.Tope-Bentop Adeboboye, who is now the Weekend editor of the Saturday and Sunday Sun titles on this special day of his birthday. His influence in my life has been nothing short of transformative.
Bentop’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have been a constant source of inspiration, motivating me to strive for excellence in all aspects of my life.
I still remember the day I met him like it was yesterday. It was through my late godfather, the late Pa Bayo Oguntuase (of blessed memory).
His warm smile and genuine interest in my well-being immediately put me at ease, and I knew I was in the presence of someone truly special.
At some point in his career, he travelled abroad and I lost contact with him until The Sun platform reunited us again.
Just recently, he asked me :”Kehinde how did we reconnect?”And I told him of a story of how we reconnected at The Sun.
He could not vividly remember, but he made one salient statement that day that there’s always a purpose for everything in life.
Yes, life is a mystery. God is always the arbiter of our fate. In the journey of life, you can only try your best and leave the rest for God the Creator of heaven and earth.
For me, I thank God I know Bentop.
Over the years, Bentop has been more than just a benefactor to me; he’s been a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light. His wisdom, counsel, and encouragement have helped me navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
One of Bentop’s most remarkable qualities is his ability to see potential in people and nurture it.He has a gift for identifying strengths and weaknesses, and his guidance has been invaluable in helping me grow both personally and professionally.

Let me tell you a few things I know about him. Bentop is a workaholic.He defines his motive very clearly and he is very blunt. He is very kind and generous and he doesn’t like liars.He is not your regular fan if you are attention-getting personality.He is very humble and meticulous.
Bentop is a disciplinarian that handles issues with caution.
As we celebrate his birthday today, I want to take a moment to tell the world about the sacrifices he has made for others.
His selflessness and dedication to helping those in need are qualities that make him an exceptional individual, and I feel fortunate to know him.He is not somebody that easily got attracted to life’s frivolity. He is very calculating and unassuming.
As far as I am concerned, I think it is essential to acknowledge and appreciate him as one of the people that have made a positive impact in my life and today is a perfect opportunity to do just that.
Like his birthday mate,and Fuji maestro,King Saheed Osupa, whose music is rooted in deep thought and unusual composition, Bentop’s legacy as a media aficionado is also that of kindness, compassion, and generosity.
