Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Lagos for arraignment on money laundering and naira abuse allegation.

Recall that the EFCC detained Bobrisky in Lagos.

The anti graft agency also filed a six-count charge against him bordering on money laundering and abuse of the naira.

Bobrisky is scheduled to take his plea before the vacation judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro.

The 31-year-old cross-dresser was invited by the EFCC following a video report of him spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.

However, the crossdresser, who had been in the EFCC detention since Wednesday night, failed to meet the administrative bail offered to him on Thursday.

Mercy Eke, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) winner, has denied being the woman involved in a viral explicit video.

The video, which has circulated online, shows a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Eke exposing her private parts and using an adult toy.

In response, the reality TV star took to Snapchat to shut down the claims, stating that the woman in the video is not her.

She also pointed out several physical discrepancies, such as her nail length, piercings, and sock style, to support her claim.

“The video y’all are circulating can never be me,” she wrote.

“I do not wear long nails, no piercings, and I don’t wear such socks. That girl does not look like me. Sorry to disappoint y’all evil fantasies. I don’t do such nonsense. Not my MO.”

In 2022, a blogger alleged she was involved in an affair with Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, whose wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, passed away amid domestic violence allegations.

Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has once again been caught on video ordering his associates to beat up a car dealer over alleged failure to deliver his new vehicle.

In an Instagram live, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker was seen interrogating the dealer, who was seated on the floor, regarding the whereabouts of his car.

The singer said he had been expecting the vehicle from the United States for over two weeks, but the dealer had “consistently provided excuses”.

Portable alleged that the dealer had misled him about the car’s status, initially claiming customs seized it. He said upon investigation, he discovered it was “untrue”.

“Where is my car? I will destroy your life. Do you want to kill me or scam me?” he asked.

“He helped me ship a new car from America. It has been two weeks and I have not gotten my car.

“I was supposed to announce the purchase of the car on social media yesterday but he has been deceiving me.

“He told me the car was seized by customs. I got to the customs office, but there was nothing.

“Why could you not tow it? When I called him about my car yesterday, he told me to come to Owode.

“When I got there he said he was at Idiroko, I drove there from Island. So I told him to enter my car and I drove him down to my house.”

The incident marks the second assault case involving Portable in a short span. On Monday, the singer slapped a man for preaching at his bar.

Born Habeeb Okikiola, Portable gained fame in December 2021 with the release of ‘Zazoo Zeh’, his hit single featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.

Since then, he has been in the public eye for controversial reasons.

In May, Portable was arrested by the Lagos police for allegedly failing to pay the debt he incurred after purchasing his G-Wagon from a car dealer.

VIDEO: Mixed reactions as Mohbad’s mother kneels to greet his father at the Coroner Inquest

Mix reactions have trailed a video of the father of late singer Ilerioluwa Promise, popularly known as Mohbad, snubbing his estranged wife, the singer’s mother, at the Coroner’s Inquest.

Ahead of the singer’s first remembrance, a Coroner Inquest was held today, Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 in Ikorodu. In a video making rounds online, his father was captured refusing to acknowledge his mother when she greeted him. It is no longer news that the parents have been at loggerheads following his demise, with his mother pitching tent with the singer’s wife, Omowunmi, who she has since fallen out with.

To make it more surprising, Mohbad’s mother drummed support for her former husband at the Inquest as she stated that whatever the singer’s father says concerning their son’s remembrance is the final. She had also appealed to Nigerians to respect their privacy.

“Whatever Mohbad’s dad says is the final. We don’t want any elaborate celebration of our son’s remembrance. The best you can do is to pray for him. You all should please leave us alone and let us settle our family”.
