Why my marriage crashed – OAP Do2dtun

Published

on

Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, on-air-personality, popularly known as Do2dtun, has responded to his estranged wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo over domestic abuse claims she stated as reasons for leaving their marriage and taking their kids with her.

Do2dtun and Taiwo again began making headlines after the media personality called Taiwo out over the custody of their two daughters.

According to the popular OAP, Taiwo absconded with their kids despite a court order stating they shared custody, a claim Taiwo was not too happy about as she broke her silence on Saturday, stating domestic abuse as her reason for leaving the marriage.

“For eight years, I tolerated your sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse. I can never recover from the trauma and pain you caused me. How did you expect me to raise the girls in that environment?”

Taiwo also addressed claims that Dbanj played a role in the end of their marriage.

“This is not Dapo’s battle; leave him out. All he did was help and cover your shame as you couldn’t keep up with your responsibilities, and you are here fighting Dbanj.

“Dapo paid several rents, so we did not live on the streets.

“Every decision I made was to protect the girls from you.

Refuting Taiwo’s claims in a new post, Do2dtun challenged Dbanj to produce receipts for paying his rent alongside other allegations made by his estranged wife.

‘@iambangalee, I challenge you to release receipts of the rent you paid for me; I am sure you know your sister is a LIAR!!! If she took money from you for that purpose, she probably lied, the same way she squandered the kids’ school fees severally given to her when the kids were in Tenderville. She doesn’t even know I know this. LoL.

On domestic abuse claims, the Do2dtun said, “You have told the world different stories about what happened.

“You see how inconsistent your allegations are: Domestic violence to forced abortion to emotional abuse to sexual abuse. Please stay in one place.

“What you filed is different from what you tell the press. What you say is always different from what you type.

“The marriage reached its breaking point not cos of all these lies you told; it’s cos you MARRIED YOUR BROTHER & gave your mantle of reasoning to your MOTHER.”

Veteran Nigerian actor, Francis Duru, has died at the age of 57.

The actor’s family announced the news of his passing on his official Instagram page in the early hours of Friday, revealing that he died following a brief illness.

“We, the family of Francis Duru, regret to announce his passing following a brief illness,” the post reads.

“We appreciate your prayers, love, and understanding. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”

Earlier in June, the actor denied viral reports claiming he was battling a life-threatening illness.

The rumours gained traction after footage showing him in a frail condition circulated widely on social media, raising concern among fans and colleagues.

In response, Duru shared an Instagram video describing the footage as “fabricated and malicious”.

Duru was born on July 27, 1969, in Cameroon, to parents of Nigerian origin from Imo state. He completed his primary and secondary education in Cameroon before relocating to Nigeria to pursue a university degree.

He made his entry into the Nigerian film industry in 1989 with a movie titled ‘Missing Mark,’ directed by the late Ndubuisi Oko.

His appearance in the film did little to advance his career at the time, as he was still considered an up-and-coming actor.

He gained greater recognition in the industry in 1995 after appearing in ‘Rattlesnake,’ an action-comedy produced by the late Amaka Igwe. Duru played a notable role in the film as the character Ahanna.

Over the course of his career, Duru received numerous awards and honours for his work. He was named a United Nations ambassador of peace in recognition of his positive influence on young people. In 2020, he won the :Best Actor in a Leading Role (Igbo)’ award at the Best of Nollywood Awards for his performance in ‘Mboputa’.
