The minister of aviation, Festus Keyamo, has reportedly confirmed that 25 passengers and seven crew members were aboard the military aircraft that crashed in Ondo state.
According to TheCable, the minister made the confirmation following the crash of the aircraft close to the naval base in the Igbokoda area of Ondo on Monday.
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) confirmed ownership of the plane, saying it was on a routine mission from Lagos to Benin, the Edo state capital.
