French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday night hosted President Bola Tinubu to a private dinner at the Élysée Palace in Paris, France.

According to the President Tinubu’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the meeting reflected the enduring relationship between Nigeria and France and their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Tinubu arrived in France on Sunday to continue his three-week annual leave after spending the first part of his vacation in London.

He was received by Emmanuel Ayodele Oke, Nigeria’s ambassador to the country.

The president also spent part of his work leave last September in France.
