The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) will on Saturday, May 30 hold a Special Convention in Abuja for the affirmation of Peter Obi as its 2027 presidential candidate.
The National Publicity Secretary of the NDC, Osa Director, confirmed the development.
Obi had emerged the sole presidential aspirant of the NDC being the only one that picked the presidential expression of interest form of the party.
He was subsequently screened and cleared for the race by the Senator Sam Egwu-led presidential screening committee set up by the party.
