Ahead of the 2027 general election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended timelines for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 elections.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by Felix Morka, national publicity secretary of the APC.
According to the APC, the sale of forms has been extended to midnight on Wednesday, May 6.
The party said the deadline for submission of completed forms is now midnight on Thursday, May 7.
It added that the screening of aspirants will take place from Friday, May 8, to Tuesday, May 12.
The APC said the list of screened aspirants will be published on Wednesday, May 13.
Earlier on April 20, the APC released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general election, fixing May 15 and 16 for its presidential primary.
The house of representatives primary is slated for May 18, the senate primary for May 20, state houses of assembly primaries for May 21, and governorship primaries for May 23.
