A yet-to-be-ascertained number of people are feared dead after a suspected bomb explosion in Woro community, Kaiama LGA of Kwara state.
According to reports, a driver, identified as Zuberu, was among those affected.
No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion, although residents suspect the IED may have been detonated by members of Boko Haram.
Last month, no fewer than 75 residents were killed and several houses set ablaze when suspected terrorists attacked the Woro and Nuku communities in Kaiama LGA.
Following the deadly attack, President Bola Tinubu ordered the deployment of an army battalion in the area.
