Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the killing of a woman and her six children in Dorayi Chiranchi Quarters of the Kano metropolis, describing the incident as barbaric and unacceptable. The suspects, Awotunde Saudat, Muyideen Olutoki, Fatai Abiodun, Usman Ademola, and Ismaila Abiodun were arraigned on allegations of attempted murder
