1. Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, citing persistent leadership turmoil at the party’s national level.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Monday night, Adeleke confirmed that he submitted his resignation to party officials in Sagba Abogunde, Ward 2, Ede North Local Government, on November 4, 2025

3. The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has refuted claims that it endorsed amnesty and financial incentives for terrorists and bandits operating across northern Nigeria. In a sharply worded statement released on Monday, the ACF dismissed the allegation sparked by a viral video clip from an interview granted to ARISE News by its Board of Trustees Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu.

5. Residents of Bakale village in Kilgori district, Yabo Local Government Area of Sokoto State, have been ordered to pay a N20 million levy to prevent deadly attacks. In an audio recording obtained by our reporter, the leader of the armed group instructed the village head to convene a meeting with residents and communicate the demand.

10. Seven builders were trapped on Monday when an uncompleted storey-building on Sir Kashim Ibrahim Street in the Bauchi metropolis collapsed. Confirming the development, the Deputy Director of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Dauda Pali, said the agency received a distress call and immediately deployed personnel to the scene.
