Customs officer found dead in Katsina hotel ‘after night with three women’

An assistant superintendent of customs (ASC), Lawal Tukur, has reportedly been found dead in Murjani hotel in the Katsina metropolis.

According to a report by Zagazola Makama, a counterinsurgency publication, the dead officer reportedly lodged at the hotel.

The publication said the hotel staff  discovered his lifeless body at the hotel room on Thursday around 8:30am.

Sources at the hotel said the deceased customs officers lodged at the hotel with three women.

Two women reportedly spent the night with the deceased, while another one visited them later and also lodged in the same hotel.

The body of the officer was taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Katsina, where he was confirmed dead and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.

Bello Isah, spokesperson of the Nigeria Customs Service, Katsina command, confirmed the death of the officer.

Isah said the command was informed about the death of the officer by his family.
