EFCC arrests 24 suspected internet fraudsters, recovers three cars
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Directorate have arrested 24 suspected internet fraudsters.
The agency’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, who disclosed this in a statement, said the suspects were arrested on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Lokoja, Kogi State following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
According to Oyewale, items recovered from them include 30 phones, 6 laptops and 3 cars.
“The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” Oyewale said.
