Hon Sanni mourns Lagos LCDA boss, Oladotun Olakanle

Hon Sanni Babatunde Okanlawon,
member, Lagos state house of assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 01 and chairman house committee on local government, Chieftaincy affairs and Rural development, has mourned the sudden death of the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Oladotun Olakanle.

Olakanle, popularly called Tant’olorun, died in the early hours of Saturday at the age of 54.

The late LCDA boss, according to findings, was said to be very active at work on Friday, November 1, 2024, as his administration distributed vehicles to police formations in the council area, while reports also indicated that Olakanle was at a social gathering, which took place on Thursday, 31 October, 2024

Honourable Sanni, better known as OKLA, in a message to mourn Olakanle, wrote: “We met last on Thursday at Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo’s 60th birthday looking charming and bubbly. You said ‘egbon mi sewa’.

“We shook hands warmly and exchanged pleasantries not knowing it was the last i’ll see you Dotun.

“You were a very good guy , cool, calm and collected.
Very respectful, easy going and very reconcilable.

“Your exit from the terrestrial world is a great loss and a void difficult to fill to we your brothers, friends, well wishers and political associates.

“May the Almighty God rest your soul and grant you eternal rest in the paradise.

“Goodbye Dotun.
