Ahead of the much-anticipated cabinet reshuffle reportedly being planned by President Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state, Adeboro Onibalusi, has restated his belief in the capability of the president to put in place a cabinet that will further ensure the fulfillment of the Renewed Hope Agenda for the good people of Nigeria.
Onibalusi, who made his views known while speaking to newsmen in Akure, the Ondo state capital said ‘some ministers in the present cabinet of the president have cemented their places with their sterling performances’, which according to him, have endeared them to Nigerians, whilst showcasing the renewed hope agenda of the Tinubu/APC government.
He described the performance of the youthful minister of interior, as a confirmation that the president indeed has chosen right in his appointment of Hon Olubunmi Tunji Ojo.
“It is a statement of fact that the success or failure of any government is a direct product of the quality of team put together by the president’ said onibalusi
The APC chieftain said the performance of the interior minister has confounded many detractors of the president and the APC.
“Who would have known that an interior minister has so much to do? Before him, without casting any aspersion on anyone, most Nigerians believed the job of the interior minister was to announce public holidays. Today, even the enemies of the president are clapping for the excellent jobs being done by this extraordinary minister.
“Without doubt, the minister has astounded Nigerians with his exceptional style and adept management of the interior ministry. He has indeed set the pace for young generation of leaders. With his performance so far, he has confirmed that with the right mentality, Nigerian youths can indeed excel in positions of leadership.
“Of course, I am not in doubt that the minister is one of the poster boys of the Asiwaju Tinubu administration. Nigerians are eager to see more of him, as there is no doubt about his ability and capabilities. He also wishes the Nigeria a happy independence day.”
