EFCC arrests 22 suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City, recovers 10 exotic cars
Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday August 20, 2024 arrested 22 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations within Benin City.
According to a statement by Dele Oyewale, Dele Oyewale, head, media & publicity of EFCC, on Wednesday, the suspects were arrested based on actionable intelligence regarding their suspected involvement in internet- related fraud.
Items recovered from them include 10 exotic cars, laptops and phones
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
