THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO SUBVERT DEMOCRATIC PROCESS IN AKOKO NORTH EAST/NORTH WEST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is just a month and a day to the house of representatives by-election in Akoko north east/west federal constituency.
The entire People of Ondo state and Nigeria as a whole are aware of the events leading to the upcoming by-election.
And now that members who are interested in vying for the vacant seat have obtained nomination forms in line with the All progressives Congress guidelines, it is illegal and unacceptable for the Akoko North West Local government party Chairman Mr. Kehinde Obanla a.k.a Ajaparaa to be conducting unapproved, illegal and shameful congresses across the Ten wards in Akoko North West and 13 wards in Akoko North East Local government.
This show of shame , in our belief, is not know to the authorities saddled with the power to conduct the delegates Congress where no list of delegates is tenable for affirmation.
We have it on good authority that the APC party Chairman in Akoko North West, Mr. Kehinde Obanla is embarking on this voyage of perdition on behalf of the honourable minister of interior, Mr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo who has vowed to use his influence and connections to suppress every ideal and acceptable democratic process. He is currently using Civil Defense, Police Amotekun Corps to intimidate, harass and cause commotion in the Federal Constituency.
The shameful act conducting illegal ward Congresses is currently heating up the polity as numerous party faithful are agitated and bracing for a counter action against the political brigandage of Kehinde Obanla and his paymasters.
The Olugbemiga Araoyinbo campaign organisation hereby appeal to the authorities concerned to rein in the honourable minister of interior, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo to see himself as a man living in a glass house who should not throw stones.
We have equally mobilized our supporters to resist any attempt to hoodwink them in to believing in the affirmation of any list not authorised by the electoral umpire for the delegates Congress.
