The court of appeal sitting in Lagos has dismissed the appeal filed by Abdulazeez Adeniran, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democractic Party, PDP, against the victory of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The court, in a uninanimous decision delivered on Wednesday by the three-member panel, led by Yargata Nimper, dismissed the grounds raised by Adeniran.
The panel affirmed the judgment of the tribunal that upheld the election victory of Sanwo-Olu as the validly elected governor of Lagos in the March 11, 2023 election.
