Actress Moyo Lawal has confirmed that she will be taking a legal action over her private video that was released on social media.
The video which went viral on Saturday captured the Badagry-born celebrity in an intimate moment with a man.
Speaking on the video, Moyo Lawal stated that it was released without her consent.
“A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust.
“I want to emphasise that this video was done with my ex whom I was to marry at that time, was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorised distribution is a breach of my boundaries. However, this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action,” the actress stated.
Since the video went viral, rumours have circulated on social media about the man.
Socialite Sandra Iheuwa, who is also the fourth baby mama of music executive Ubi Franklin, commented on his rumoured location in a blog post on Sunday, saying that he should be arrested for revenge porn.
“He lives in ATL (Atlanta), you can get the authorities involved and get him locked up for revenge porn it’s a crime in the United States,” she wrote.
