Tinubu making right decisions, watch out – Murray-Bruce

Ben Murray-Bruce, former senator representing Bayelsa East, says President Bola Tinubu is making “the right calls”.

In a Twitter post on Friday, the ex-lawmaker said Nigerians should watch out for Tinubu’s administration.

“President Bola Tinubu is making the right calls. He turned Lagos into the 6th largest economy in Africa, and now he is in charge of the largest economy in Africa. Watch out,” Murray-Bruce tweeted.

Bruce’s comment comes in the wake of the suspension of Godwin Emefiele as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Following his victory at the polls, Tinubu reiterated his commitment to making Nigeria better.

In his inaugural speech, the president declared the petrol subsidy regime over, adding that his administration would unify the foreign exchange markets.

The petrol subsidy removal led to a hike in the pump price of the product across the country.

As a result, organised labour asked workers to embark on strike but the planned industrial action was suspended  after meetings with the federal government delegation.

The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) also suspended its proposed strike following the intervention of President Tinubu.

The president also intervened in the tussle between the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
