Poll projects AA candidate, Ogunnote to win Ikorodu constituency 2

The candidate of the Action Alliance for the Lagos House of Assembly, Ikorodu constituency 2, Hon Bukola Iyabo Ogunnote, has been projected to win the March 18 assmebly election.

In an independent opinion poll conducted by a team of data analysts and professionals, Ogunnote is said to be rated far and above than other candidates from other political parties based on four key variables.

The variables, according to the poll, include experience and popularity of the veteran actress among the people of her constituency.

The report, which took into cognisanze several other factors, was an outcome of two weeks opinion polls conducted in all the wards that make up the constituency.

The poll, which was conducted via a combination of house-to-house, personal and phone surveys by trained experts showed that the AA remains the strongest and most popular political party among the constituents and is poised to win the election on Saturday.

“The poll was conducted in the three major Nigerian languages of Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba. In all the cases, the surveys were designed to ensure that the results were accurate and unbiased. The candidate of the AA is the first choice among all the respondents,” an official of poll body disclosed to The Post.

The people of the constituency are also said to be considering her humane and kind nature, which many said have endeared her to the youths and the elderly in the constituency.
