President, Ondo State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Otunba Olumide Araoyinbo, has hailed the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the president-elect.
He said a Tinubu’s presidency will usher in a new regime of prosperity for Nigerians both home and in the Diaspora.
Araoyinbo, a former majority leader of the state house of assembly, also hailed the resilience of the people of the state, who he said trooped out and conducted themselves peacefully despite the excruciating cash and fuel crunsh.
He added that the large turnout of voters and their peaceful conduct all through the period of the election is proof that the people of the state truly understands the meaning of democracy.
Speaking from in his country home in Irun Akoko, Akoko North West Local Government Area, Araoyinbo, said, “The victory of Asiwaju Tinubu is a victory for the people. It is a victory for the downthroden. I can conviniently tell you that I am proud of the way the people worked for this victory despite the hardship. At the same time, I would want to congratulate INEC and its officials for their display of professionalism during the election.”
The APC chieftain maintained that the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will bring prosperity to Nigeria and its people, saying as a detribalised Nigerian, the president-elect will work for all the sections of Nigeria.
“The election results in Ondo State and other parts of the country is the confirmation of the people’s trust in the ability of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to bring prosperity to Nigerians with developmental policies when he eventually assumes off ice as the the president of Nigeria.”
