Ondo State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, ONDOCCIMA, has congratulated Mr. Akinwumi Sowore, the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives Services, on his redeployment to the ministry.
In a congratulatory statement by ONDOCCIMA, the spokesman, Adeboro Onibalusi, hailed the appointment of Mr Sowore, saying that the association looks forward to working with him to make the state the commercial hub of the entire western region.
He said the appointment did not come to the group as a surprise knowing the kind of training he received from his late father, who was a businessman and administrator to the core.
“We congratulate Mr. Akinwumi Sowore on his appointment as Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives Services. We equally thank Governor Akeredolu for finding the new commissioner worthy of the office.
“ONDOCCIMA as a body wishes to express its support and undaunted loyalty to ensure the success of his tenure. We are more than excited and call on the new commissioner to accept our warmest assurance that as the driver of the private sector, we hope to get the government’s support for our laudable programmes.
“We have no doubt in his capacity to deliver on the mandate, given that he is a thoroughbred and experienced politician.”
He promised that the president, Otunba Olumide Araoyibo, and the entire members of ONDOCCIMA will work with the new commissioner to achieve the target of putting the state on the global industrial and commercial map.
