Davido in first public outing at Uncle Adeleke’s inauguration after son’s death

Music star, Davido, stepped out in what was his first public outing on Sunday forr the swearing-in ceremony of Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, as the governor of Osun State.

Isreal DMW, Davido’s aide, shared a post of his principal’s arrival at Ede, Osun for the inauguration via his Instagram page on Sunday.

He also accompanied the post with photos of the musician and some members of his team.

“Oga, no go ever minus. We outside #aadeleke_01 Osun State Governor,” he wrote in the terse post.

In July, Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured 403,371 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.

The ex-lawmaker won 17 LGAs while the incumbent governor secured victory in 13 LGAs.

This will be the first time Davido would be appearing at a public function since the death of Ifeanyi, his only child with Chioma Rowland.

The three-year-old boy was said to have drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos state.

Ifeanyi’s demise elicited a wave of mixed reactions on social media platforms, with many fans and celebrities paying tributes to the little boy.
