Former Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Chairman, Vincent Ogbulafor, has died in Canada at the age of 73.

He was said to have died on Thursday in Canada from an undisclosed ailment.

A family source, who craved anonymity confirmed his death, saying he died peacefully.

Ogbulafor, who was born on May 24, 1949, was the first PDP’s National Secretary before he later became the party’s National Chairman.

Ogbulafor resigned his appointment as the chairman of PDP years back after he was charged for an alleged financial recklessness while serving as a minister.

He was a Prince of Olokoro, Umuahia South, the local government of Abia State.

He was reputed to have boasted that the PDP would rule for 60 years which did not come to pass, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) truncated that dream and eventually defeated it in 2015.
