Pillow Whispers visit Ogba primary school, donate uniforms

A socio-entertainment group, Pillow Whispers (PW), on Thursday, visited the Ogba Primary School, Oluwole Estate, Ogba, Lagos State.

The visit, which was part of the group’s socio responsibilities programmes, witnessed the donation of sets of school uniforms to both boys and girls pupils.

According to PW, the donation was an extension of the group’s charity programme from 2021. “This was an extended charity from 2021. It was delayed because we had to change from one school to this because of some little challenges,” a member of the charity committee told The Post.

Chairman of the committee, Adeola Aigoro-Tijani, expressed satisfaction with the donation, saying it is the beginning of greater things from the group.

“We, members of the group, found it important for to do somethings for these children. The donation you are seeing is our own little way of putting smiles on the faces of the children. This is just the beginning, from next year, we promise to make it more and bigger,” Adeola said shortly after the donation.

Meanwhile, the excited children and the authorities of the school expressed happiness at the gesture, and promised that the donated uniforms would be put to good use by the beneficiaries.
