Lagos police arrest three drug peddlers, recover 150 ‘skuchies’ bottles

Three suspected drug peddlers conveying 150 bottles of ‘skuchies’ have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.

‘Skuchies’ is a cocktail of drugs, including cannabis sativa, tramadol tablets, codeine, swifnol, among others.

The trio – Francis Friday, Kemi Adeyemo, and Nonso Orji – were arrested while conveying 150 bottles of ‘skuchies’ in a Suzuki minibus at Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a tweet on Tuesday.

According to him, suspicion and a subsequent search led to the arrest of the syndicate.

Advising Nigerians to avoid drugs, Hundeyin revealed that investigation was ongoing in the case.

He tweeted, ” It started with reasonable suspicion, then search. Francis Friday ‘m’ aged 30; Kemi Adeyemo ‘f’ aged 35 years; and Nonso Orji ‘m’ aged 22, were arrested while conveying 150 bottles of skuchies in a Suzuki minibus at Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu.

“Investigation is ongoing. Say no to drugs!”
