She lived a fulfilled life: Life and Times of Late Madam Victoria Oyinade Adedeji

Late Madam Victoria Oyinade Adedeji was born to the families of Daini and Badejoko on the 10th of June 1930.

She had her standard Education at the Saint Emmanuel School Isonyin, under the then Ijebu Divisional District, now in Ijebu-East Local Government area of Ogun state.

She later studied for her G.C.E Cambridge as a private student, which enabled her to be a qualified nurse in Ibadan, Oyo state.

A very industrious and hugely ambitious Oyinade went in search of greeneer pasture after she began her working career with the Nigerian Tobacco Company In Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria.

After she got married to her late ,Pa Nicholas Olabode Adedeji, Mama returned to Lagos where she embarked on trading. However, the trading only lasted a few years before she moved on to join Biode Pharmaceutical Industry.

A very astute woman, Mama would later retire to full time trading untill she transitioned into eternal glory.

Fondly called Mama by all those around her, Madam Victoria Oyinade Adedeji lived an exemplary life of a good Christian.

She was very kind and generous. She never turned her back on the needy, an act that earned her respect from far and near. She dedicated her life to humanity. Her catch phrase was “Be good to others as you would wish them to do to you.”

A devout and pious Christian and member of many Church societies in the church. She was a reliable, peace loving and a confidant.

She went to Jerusalem on Pligrimage where she was anointed as JP. She was baptized and confirmed in Christ during her early ages. She served her God faithfully, paying her Church dues both in Lagos and at home in Iraye -Oke EPE.

This she did until her glorious call in the early hours of 29th June, 2022.
