The Leader-General of the All Christian Practical Praying Band, Dan Nwokolo, has been abducted by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
According to reports, the hoodlums invaded the residence of the cleric in Ufuma, in the Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, and abducted him after he finished a midnight prayer session.
A family source said the abductors picked the cleric from his car in front of his house and immediately zoomed off in their vehicle.
The source said the hoodlums had yet to establish contact with Nwokolo’s family.
He said, “The incident happened last night (Wednesday) in front of his house as he was coming back from a prayer session. The hoodlums cornered his vehicle right in front of his compound, ordered him down and whisked him away in their vehicle and immediately zoomed off.”
