The story making the round about the purported death of the Minister of Science and Technology, Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora, has been debunked.
A statement, signed by the duo of Femi Odusanya and Oloye Salami Oluwaseun on behalf of the minister, described the story story of the minister’s death as a rude shock and mischievious, and asked that it be disregarded.

“The news making the round that the Hon Minister of Science and Technology Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora is dead is totally false and should be disregarded.
“The fake news of the death of our principal is a rude shock, totally mischievous and should be disregarded. The Hon Minister for Science and Technology is hale and healthy and working assiduously to support President Muhammad Buhari to impact on the well-being of Nigerians.
“We, therefore urge the general public, the party and political associates to take this story as one of those fabricated lies by the enemies of the people and Nigeria.”
