Ogun govt rushes benches to school after The Post story
Following the publication of the shameful story of students of Kizito High School, Iwopin, Ogun State, writing their promotion examinations while sitting on bare floor in the school, Ogun State government Special Intervention has arrived the school to deliver benches for the use of the students.
The ugly story had attracted condemnations earlier today when photographs of the students sitting on the floor while writing their papers first went viral after some concerned parents shared them on social medi platforms.
However, less than 10 hours after the publication, an appointtee of Governor Dapo Abiodun shared the photographs and video of the delivery of new benches to the school on a popular pro-government platform, Ogunnextlevel.
The photographs were accompanied with a short message: “I’dlike to inform everyone that students of Kizito High School, Iwopin, Ogun Waterside, will no longer write their promotion exams sitting on bare floor, as we’ve provided them with chairs and tables. this is the second batch that we’ll be supplying the school.”
