Ondo South PDP Women Leader Yetunde Dada dies in road accident

Ondo South Senatorial Women Leader of Peoples Democratic Party, Mrs Yetunde Dada is dead.

According to reports, Dada died in a motor accident on Kogi-Abuja expressway on Tuesday.

The late 57-year-old politician was a one-time Chairperson, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Council Area of the state.

While condoling with PDP members in Ile Oluji/Oke-Igbo community over the death of the Women Leader, Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo, representing Ondo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly said her passage was painful and untimely.

Tofowomo, in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Mr Olumide Akinrinlola, on Wednesday, hailed the exceptional qualities of the late politician, saying that she would be greatly remembered for her active roles in the rebuilding of PDP in Ondo State.

“It is hard to believe that Dada is no more. Her death is so painful and untimely. She was indeed an exceptional politician, as she remained dedicated to the restoration of PDP’s glory in the state,” he said.

Tofowomo offered his deepest condolences to the husband and children of the deceased and prayed for the repose of her soul.

“I pray God to grant Ile-Oluji community, her family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the senator said.
