About 68 persons have been abducted from Zazzaga community in Munya council of Niger State.
Sources said the gunmen invaded the community on Tuesday night, taking the residents unawares.
One person was killed in the assault, it was said.
Four businessmen were abducted in Tegina, Rafi council of the state barely 48 hours before the Tuesday attack.
A bandits, according to source, went from house to house, during which four persons were shot.
A lot of people got injured while trying to escape, a source said.
Munya council Secretary, James Isaac Jagaban, said one person was killed, adding that four others were being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds.
He said the gunmen had not contacted anyone on the incident.
A community leader, Isah Munya said they were not safe. He called on the federal and state governments to end the attacks.
