BREAKING: Police arrests EndSARS protesters in Lagos
Stern-looking operatives of the the Lagos State Police Command are arresting EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate.
A protester, identified as Okechukwu Peter, had his phone was seized.
“Remember those that were killed last year”, he screamed as officers took him away.
Another man dressed in a green and red Kangor outfit was thrown inside a black maria.
He earlier complained that the police were suppressing the right of Nigerians to demonstrate.
Hundreds of stern-looking operatives are keeping watch in an around Lekkk, Ikoyi and Victoria Island.
There has been no report of violence while traffic is moving slowing along toll gate corridor.
