Unknown gunmen have kidnapped two students of the Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State.
According to reports, the incident occured on Saturday night when the deadly gunmen invaded the university’s host community.
It was gathered that the attackers stormed the area with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically before whisking away the victims to an unknown destination.
The gunmen were also said to have abducted one Hon. Yahaya Adams from the community during the attack.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer R,amhan Nansel, confirmed the incident.
According to him, the command has contacted the school management and has commenced investigation into the attack.
He said, “We have met with the institution’s public relations officer, PRO and investigation is currently ongoing”.
