Amotekun rescues three abducted travelers in Ondo

Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun) have rescued the three remaining of the 12 travelers who were abducted along Ido Ani-Ifira Akoko expressway in Akoko South-East Local Government Area of the state.

Recall that the three victims, who were among the 12 passengers that were attacked by the bandits at the bad portion of the road, were taken away into the bush.

Men of the Amotekun corps had earlier rescued the other nine victims on Wedsnday.

Confirming the development, state commander of the Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, said, “I can confirm to you that we have rescued the three remaining victims and they will be reunited with their families.”

Adeleye added that the victims would be reunited with their family members on Saturday.
