Five persons including a cemetery guard have been arraigned before an Akure Magistrate’s Court for unlawful possession of human parts and tampering with bodies.
The suspects were alleged to have tampered with a body and severed the parts from the main body of a woman buried at C. A. C. Cemetery in Ondo.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Presiding Magistrate, O. R. Yakubu, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N200,000, and adjourned the case till July 14.
