Twenty-one-year-old Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of the Chief Executive Offiver of Super TV, Mr. Usifo Ataga, has confessed tying the hands of the late Usifo before stagging him to death.
In an exclusive interview with NTA newsmen, Chidinma opened up on how she tied Ataga’s hands while he was high on drugs and asleep, because she wanted to steal from him, before stabbing him to death.
Her confession gives credence to the family’s claim that Usifo’s corpse showed signs of torture, tied hands and a broken neck even before he was stabbed.
The 300-level student of the Department of Mass Communication in the interview monitored by The Post opened up on how she met Ataga through her friend who she alleged was a girlfriend to Ataga’s friend.
She claimed that she was the one who ordered the drug, which arrived a day after schedule, stressing that she tied the hands of Ataga while he was high on drug before stabbing him to death.
“Not that I don’t know that he was married or that he has a wife. We met at a function through his friend who was a boyfriend to my friend and we slept that day. He later sent money to me to get the apartment and to get drug. We drank and smoked and we were very high.
“I wanted to steal from him, I tied his hands because he was high and asleep. He was struggling with me and I stabbed him in the neck,’ she said.
Asked how many times she stabbled the Super TV CEO, she said she couldn’t remember “the number of time.”
