The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested 30 suspected drug peddlers between May and June at the international wing terminal and the cargo areas Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

Assistant Commander-General of Narcotics (ACGN) Ahmadu Garba disclosed this to aviation journalists yesterday at the agency’s command at the Lagos airport.

Garba said the arrests were made through intelligence gathering, adding that the coming on board of Brig. General Buba Marwa, chairman of NDLEA, boosted the morale of officers.

He added that the command was awarded the Most Outstanding Command by NDLEA for its due diligence and the excellent performance of its officers.
