Against the assurances by President Muhammadu Buhari and security chiefs, daring bandits struck again on Thursday afternoon, this time abducting scores of students at the Federal Government College in Birnin-Yauri, in Kebbi State.
A policeman who tried to challenge the bandits was gunned down, according to eyewitnesses.
Birnin-Yauri is in Yelwa-Yauri LGA of the state.
It will be recalled that early in June, no fewer than 88 people were killed by bandits in communities in in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area the State.
