As part of the efforts to harness business opportunities for economic growth in Africa, The African Impact Magazine and Leadership Center is set for the 2021 annual Africa business leaders and award, conceptualized to celebrate distinguished individuals and organisations that have made their marks in various fields and callings.
According to a statement, signed by the event coordinator, Asiwaju Yinka Richards, and made available to newsmen, the focus of the award since inception was to encourage people who have done well in their different fields of endeavours and have contributed immensely to the development of the society.
“We have enlisted (winners) prominent, but hard and smart working Africans who have proved beyond doubt that Africa can work again through their contributions to the continent” s rebuilding process. Our award platform has assumed a coveted brand among institutions, organisations and personalities both in corporate and public sectors of our economy because of the thorough screening process of the winners and runner-ups. The 2021 edition is no doubt a parade of the best among Africa’s tireless reformers. And this year’s event will be co-hosted by the Africa Investment Development Forum,” Richards said.
He added: “This year’s award edition promises to celebrate distinguished personalities who have transformed the anxiety of the society for better and made marks in their different fields of endeavours. Among those who qualified through a public based voting exercise are;H.E Paul Kagame,Dr.Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala,Manu Chandaria,Folorunso Alakija, H.E Seyi Makinde, Vimal Shah, Seinde Fadeni,K Jubril Mohammed,Rt.Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, Terryanne Chebet,Eric Kinoti,Steve Okeleji, Yinka Osho,Ahmed Musa, Bundotich Zedekiah,Vera Wongwe, Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga,Nana Kwame Bendiako,Kofi Amoa-Abban Zege Technologies,Nord Automobile,Oti Jonathan, Desmond Koney, Kevin Okyere, and Tiguidanke Camara.”
